Trin-i-tee 5:7 is Gospel Version of Destiny’s Child

If gopshel music had anything close to Destiny Child Trin-i-tee would be it, having changed member’s and yet still having success. They didn’t start off trying to be like Destiny’s Child, but one member left to pursue her own career. So naturally, what do you do but to grab the makeup artist to replace her.   Luckily, she could sing and probably still touch-up their makeup too! The group is made of New Orleans natives Angela Taylor, Chanelle Hayes, and makeup artist Adrian Anderson. Trina-i-tee 5;7 has become one of the most successful trio’s in gospel.   In 2008 the group sold over a million albums of their T57 CD and winning two Dove awards along the way.  They also have endured some misfortunes on there road to success.  They started off working with Kirk Franklin and R Kelly, they stopped work with Kelly back in 2005. Taylor and Hayes families lost there homes in Hurricane Katrina.  In addition, the group had several manager changes before hooking up with Mathew Knowles, who is the creator of that other group Destiny’s Child that can sing and had their share of changing  members.  Tin-i-tee 5:7’s music is a mixture of gospel, hip hop, and R&B. The group sings about a variety of thing’s including relationships of Christian women and their lives. Being so honest in their music has allowed the group to reach people that go through some of the same problems in life.  Trin-i-tee 5:7 is a wonderful group with superior voices that want to spread the word of god and Dontknow3 does not see them slowing down.
